  • The Sopwiths F-AEAB to 'E are believed probably to be 1 1/2 Strutters. In this photograph a civilianised but unregistered 1 1/2 Strutter is seen exceptionally on floats with a protective cover over the rear cockpit. The floats, unusually turned up at the rear, are unique and the tailskid is still fitted but no tail float, so what happened next?

  • With no photo available of F-ADFI, the Savoia S.9 2-seat biplane flying boat shown has markings which suggest it is probably the prototype. The pusher-mounted engine is the 280/300 hp Fiat A.12bis 6-cyl water-cooled in-line.
