Celebrating the first visit to Poland by Dijon/Logvic-based Mirage 2000Bs from the Armee de l’Air's EC.1/2 Cigones, Polish Air Force/1st PLM MiG-29 Fulcrum 115 had the French unit's badge emblazoned across the upper fuselage and in smaller fashion on the fins when the French unit visited 1 PLM's base at Minsk Mazowiecki on September 11, 1994.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, de Havilland DH 60G III Moth Major HB-UPE, poses with its modern trainer counterpart, BAe Hawk Mk 66 U-1257, over the shore of Lake Leman, Switzerland, on August 19, 1994. The Moth Major left the de Havilland factory at Stag Lane in June 1934 and is now owned by the Groupement des Avions Historiques. It is based at the Lauanne Regional Airport of La Blecherette.
British Antarctic Survey (BAS) DHC Dash 7-110 VP-FBQ, seen at Farnborough on October 18, 1994, after completion of routine maintenance by Mann Aviation. It departed the same day for Cambridge, headquarters of the BAS, leaving for Antarctica the following week. In addition to this Dash 7, BAS operates four DHC-6 Twin Otters.
