The skeletal remains of Avro 504K G-EBVL, once the pride and joy of Lionel Bellairs and later Southern Aircraft Ltd, when it gave joyrides to holidaymakers at Shoreham. It was last owned by Francis Fisher and was based at Christchurch, Hampshire. The old Avro was put out to grass in March 1937, and this picture was taken in April 1939.

Avro 504K G-AATY was built from spare parts and was registered to Wolverhampton Aircraft Ltd at Brooklands in March 1930. After the C of A expired it ended up at Driffield and was scrapped there in 1937.

Blackburn T.2 Dart G-EBKH was built as a seaplane in 1926 at the Olympia works in Leeds. It was first registered to NSA> and flown at Brough, being converted to a landplane in 1929. After its C of A expired in May 1933 the Dart became a local landmark outside the garage of Reg Fowler in Doncaster Road, Hatfield, Yorkshire, remaining there until 1952 when its bare skeleton was finally scrapped.

Blackburn T.3A Velos G-EBWB was built in 1926 and toured South America the following year as a floatplane. Later it joined the North Sea Aerial & General Transport Co Ltd (NSA>) and was finally retired in March 1932. It was sold to a scrapyard in Leeds, where this photograph was taken on May 26, 1935; it was still there in 1939.

Blackburn T.3 Velos G-AAAX was built as a seaplane in 1929. Registered to NSA>, it was used as a trainer at Brough. In 1932 it was withdrawn from use and sold to the scrap dealer in York Road, Leeds where it kept company with Velos G-EBWB.

Converted into a three-seater by the Aircraft Disposal Co Ltd in 1929, this Airco D.H.9 was formerly H9248 with the RAF. Following a period of pleasure flying with Surrey Flying Services from Croydon, G-AACP was leased to Aerial Sites Ltd at Hanworth and used for banner-towing. In January 1938 the aircraft was sold to the Regal Motor Works at Parkstone in Dorset. It is pictured here still at Hanworth in August 1938.
