Although Hawker Fury N36SF has been in the UK for 2 1/2 years, these are the first and only known air-to-air pictures of it. Finished in Royal Australian Navy Aerobatic team colours, the aircraft carries the roundels of Australia, Canada, the UK and Holland to recognise all the major countries which operated the type.

Owner John Bradshaw formates Fury N36SF on Richard Paver’s camera aircraft (piloted by Trevor Butcher) for this special Aeroplane air-to-air sortie. The fighter, which began life as a Hawker Baghdad ISS (Iraqi Single Seat) Fury, has flown a total of only 24 hours since import into the UK, making rare public appearances last year. It will be performing at a number of selected shows during 1994.
