RAF Communications Flight Beech Expediter II KJ510 was later tipped on its nose by the OC Flying. It was returned to the USA in August 1946.

Avro Lancastrian C.2 VM726 at Shaibah en route to New Zealand. This Empire Air Navigation School aircraft made history when, in March 1946, it became the first aircraft to circumnavigate the world in less than a week. Sqn Ldr John Adams DFC AFC took off from Northolt on March 6 and arrived back there, via Wellington, New Zealand, a distance of 12,830 miles, in an elapsed time of six days 13hr 15min. VM726 was sold as scrap in January 1950.
