3 февраля 2015г. Организация по безопасности и сотрудничеству в Европе потеряла в Украине беспилотный вертолет Schiebel S-100 Camcopter, который использовала Специальная мониторинговая миссия. Связь с аппаратом была потеряна в 16 км к северу от Мариуполя, во время наблюдательного полета над районом, контролируемым ДНР. 2 февраля другой «Камкоптер» вернулся с задания с простреленной лопастью несущего винта. После этих инцидентов в распоряжении европейских наблюдателей осталось только два исправных «беспилотника». Однако в ОБСЕ утверждают, что и этого достаточно для выполнения поставленных задач.
