Catalina Mk IVA JX246 is launched from the Beaumaris slipway. This aircraft flew with Nos 190 and 210 Sqns.

Consolidated 28-3 Catalina I Guba, ex-NC777, went to BOAC as G-AGBJ. It was then mistakenly allotted the serial AM528, belonging to a Hudson V, and was re-serialled SM706. A precursor of the great influx of Catalinas to Britain, it is seen here at Beaumaris in about 1944.

Consolidated PB2Y-3B Coronado I JX496 in 1943. According to Saro records it was one of six received at Beaumaris. It served with BOAC and 231 Sqn, being struck off RAF charge in January 1945. General Dynamics Aircraft and their Predecessors (Putnam, 1990) says that the four survivors were scuttled on March 28, 1946; does anyone know where?
