Регистрационный номер: XH558 [2], G-VLCN [2] Powerplant servicing on the Vulcan ever since its retirement includes regular “engine drops”, and eight spare zero-timed Olympus 301 engines are held in store. At the time of Aeroplane’s visit XH558’s No 4 engine had been removed.

Регистрационный номер: XH558 [2], G-VLCN [2] Avro Vulcan B.2 XH558 - the world’s last airworthy Vulcan until its retirement in 1993 - sits snugly in a portion of the Bruntingthorpe hangar which once saw USAF B-47s and RB-66B Destroyers undergoing maintenance.
