Регистрационный номер: G-AGCM, NC33617, VR955 Lockheed Lodestar G-AGCM over Cairo. Originally a Model 18-08, this impressed American aircraft, previously NC33617, was converted to a Model 18-56 and named Lake Mariut with BOAC. It went to the RAF as VR955 in October 1946.

Here, G-ADUV Cambria, with its registration underlined with red, white and blue stripes, takes off from Rod el-Faraq on the River Nile.
