The problem picture, submitted by Dan Hagedorn, shows a line-up of Chilean Avro 504's of the Scott Mission. Nearest to the camera was No.97 named "Jeneral Korner" which appears to have an in-line engine with an exhaust pipe extending as far as the front cockpit. Can anyone identify which engine this might be and which version of the 504? The next three aircraft in line seem to be standard 504K's, in order No.82 "Curico", No.78 "Capitan Avalos" and No.75. The other aircraft in the line appear to be at least two SE-5A's and several DH.9's, one named "Tacna".

Регистрационный номер: 5B-CAJ The debate about the origins of Cypriot National Guard Colt CR8 continues. It seems unlikely to be related to 5B-CAJ, shown in the photo taken 12.2.73 at Nicosia still wearing its factory colour scheme. The comparison with the photo of CR8 on p.88/55 also reveals several other detail differences - so it would be better to delete reference to CR8 from c/n 22-8014. Thanks to M.W.Glasscoe for report and photo.
