Регистрационный номер: AS703 This photo from Lee Stollar, via Peter Berry, was taken at Manila International in March 1955. Oxford AS703 was an RAAF example, presumably c/n 1365, but as it carries no military insignia it must have been demobbed. Feedback p.89/84 refers to Fleming A/W System Transport using an Oxford in 1956/7 and p.88/34 had a photo of an unidentified PI-regd example. Is there any connection between these three and if so can anyone fill the gaps please?

Регистрационный номер: D-AKOP Mike Hooks has unearthed this view of the Oasis Rally competitors at Cairo. There are 34 of them in this shot, including a Monospar, fifth from right, which must presumably be the non-starter G-ADLL?

These two drawings show the Lancashire Prospector 4 proposal. The upper view shows the electrically operated swing tail rear fuselage opened to accept a Mini. The aircraft would have a welded steel tube fuselage with a partly metal, partly fibreglass skin. The all-metal wings had integral fuel tanks and removable tip tanks for extra range. Power would be provided by a Continental GTSIO-520 of 390 hp for take-off, with a constant-speed propeller. Span was 46 ft, length 31 ft 6 in, height 11 ft 3 in. Empty weight 2467 lb, usable load 2533 lb and max auw 5000 lb. Range was 800 miles at 150 mph cruise. Selling price was expected to be about £14,000. The designers' aim was to produce an aircraft capable of lifting 1 ton or more from a 400 yard grass strip. Other versions were proposed including all-freight, 8-passenger, agricultural and ambulance configurations.
