Conjecture about the origins of the aircraft, which was built from parts and first flew on 8.8.63, is revived in the Extract from Aeroplane 18.7.47. If, as stated by AJJ, the Leopard was built from parts of G-ACGS, why was it not given c/n 7002 initially?
