Wellington T.10 MF626 "P" about to touch down at Swinderby in February 1951. Swinderby was the base of No 201 Advanced Flying School. Wellington trainers were painted in overall silver dope with yellow training bands on the rear fuselage and wings. Note the faired-over nose turret position.

A fine view of a Wellington cockpit - in this case an early Pegasus XVIII-powered wartime variant (the date on the manufacturer's plate is April 1939).
A certain number of the Wellingtons delivered to the R.A.F. are fitted with dual control, as shown here. The visual indicator for the undercarriage occupies the central position on the main instrument panel.
Although this is an early photograph, taken in 1939, it shows the cockpit of a dual-control Wellington as supplied to the RAF.
