Регистрационный номер: R2274 [2] In view of the success of the Defiant as a night fighter using its four-gun turret to fire upwards and sideways into enemy bombers, a Defiant turret was fitted to Beaufighter R2274 just aft of the pilot's cockpit. It went to Boscombe Down for brief turret handling tests.
