Sole surviving Avro Tutor in Britain is G-AHSA (ex K3215) which is owned by the Shuttleworth Trust who restored it to airworthy condition and repainted it in pre-war yellow training colours, with its original serial.

Stability was further improved in the Manchester IA (L7515 of No. 207 Squadron illus.) by increasing outer fin area and tailplane span; the central fin was then deleted. Nothing much could be done about the erratic Rolls-Royce Vulture engines, however.
