As reported last month, eight McDonnell Douglas RF-4C Phantoms of the U.S.A.F.'s 186th Tactical Recon. Group, Mississippi ANG, home-based at Key Field, Meridian, were deployed to R.A.F. Alconbury from 27th September to 12th October 1980. Shown here are 66-413 and 66-422 bearing yellow-edged dark-green fin markings with "Mississippi" inscribed in yellow.

Photographed at Dubendorf by Werner Gysin-Aegerter, these Northrop F-5E Tiger IIs belong to the Swiss A.F.'s No.18 Squadron of the Surveillance Wing which includes similarly equipped No.11 Squadron. F-5Es are also in service with Nos.8 and 19 Squadrons, flown by militia pilots. The Swiss have ordered 66 F-5Es and 6 F-5Fs.
