The entry for NC54690 appeared at the end of Part Three of this series. We have since received this photo of the former AT-6A in semi derelict condition in 1996 as Israeli Defence Force Air Force 1154.

Another member of the Skytypers skywriting team was N55729, formerly SNJ-4 BuA 2022, seen here in 1978 wearing the team number 3 on the cowling.

Another photograph recently received shows N52900 equipped for sky-writing with smoke tube extending from the rear of the cowling to the wing root. This SNJ-2 was registered with its former Naval serial 2010 as c/n and through the sixties was owned by Stinis Air Service Inc, Flushing, NY, so it obviously returned from the expedition to Cuba.
