Two of the Massachusetts ANG F-86Hs, 52-1987 from the 131st TFS at Westfield and 53-1408 from the 101st TFS at Boston, are seen here landing at Prestwick on 17th July 1962 on their way back home from Phalsbourg.

166th TFS F-84F 52-6963 is seen here visiting the Armed Forces Day 'Open House'at RAF Sculthorpe on 19th May 1962. The fin marking comprises a blue flash passing through a red outline of the State of Ohio.

Missouri ANG F-84Fs 51-1680 (named "Tigah") and 52-7080 (named "Swamp Stamped II") visited Prestwick on 27th May 1962 from their temporary home at Toul, presumably to make arrangements for the mass homeward transit that took place through the Scottish airfield seven weeks later.

Unlike the F-86Hs and F-84Fs, the Alabama ANG RF-84Fs were rather less colourful in appearance. The only unit marking carried was the 106th TRS badge, worn in yellow and black on the fin. 53-7602 and 53-7612 are seen arriving at Prestwick on 16th July 1962.
