1625th SS VC-47D 45-0940 is seen here visiting Blackbushe during 1957, at which time the aircraft and its parent unit were still based at RAF Burtonwood. 45-0940 had arrived in the UK during July 1956 when transferred from the 1614th SS (MATS) at Rhein Main AB, West Germany.

Force Aerienne Beige Hunter F.6 IF-108 came from 7 Wing at Chievres. The wing's two squadrons (7 Escadrille and 8 Escadrille) were the last to fly the Hunter and the type would be withdrawn altogether from Belgian service during 1962. IF-108 was sold back to Hawkers and rebuilt for further service with the Fuerza Aerea de Chile.

RB-47E 52-0791 was one of two redundant Stratojets delivered to the (then) 3920th ABG at Brize Norton in December 1957. These aircraft, along with a third acquired in September 1960, would be used for crew training and communications duties by the staff of the 7th Air Division. 52-0791 still carried the yellow diagonal fin-stripe from earlier service with the 70th SRW at Little Rock AFB, AR.

KB-50J 49-0373 from the 420th ARS at RAF Sculthorpe was no stranger to Mildenhall because the squadron's aircraft often underwent minor maintenance at the base. However, immediately following the Armed Forces Day show this particular machine was dispatched to Douglas Aircraft at Tulsa, OK for a seven-week period of depot work.

53rd WRS WB-50D 48-0060 is seen here at RAF Alconbury on 16th May 1959, three months before the squadron's transfer to Mildenhall.

496th FIS F-102A 56-1131 had been in squadron service at Hahn AB, West Germany since September 1960 and was one of the last Delta Daggers to be delivered to the unit following conversion from the F-86D. The colourful fin markings, typical of the period, comprised a black and yellow sunburst with the squadron's falcon insignia on a blue disc above the serial number.

Armee de l'Air Super Mystere B.2 No.68 '10-RC' was one of two aircraft that visited from their home base at Creil, just north of Paris. On its fin it carried the cockerel badge of Escadron de Chasse 2/10 "Seine". The 10th wing's two squadrons used the Super Mystere B.2 from 1958 until 1969.

1607th ATW C-133A 54-0137 had only entered service with the 1607th ATW six weeks before the show. Up until its delivery to Dover AFB, DE on 6th May 1961 the aircraft had served as a trials machine, firstly at Edwards AFB and then from August 1959 with the Wright Air Development Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
