One aircraft that we were unable to illustrate as it came too near the end of the Winter 2004 listing was former SNJ-2 N62382. Previously a racer with Edna Gardner as NX62382, it is seen here advertising "New Blue Sunoco" with a smoke pipe fitted and cowling removed. It was sold to El Salvador in 1951.

Another earlier conversion that we missed illustrating was this SNJ-2 N60734 as No.3 of the "Skytypers" "Miller Squadron" complete with plentiful advertising for Miller Lite beer including the slogan "Its Miller time" applied to the flaps!
