AT-6A c/n 77-4236 was converted into a single-seat racer as NX64448, No.54, in 1947 for Betty Clark and wore "Vest Aircraft Co ... Denver, Colo .... Chum Seat Special" titles. The rear cockpit was faired over but provided a seat and small window for a transit passenger.

This former SNJ-2 c/n 78-6803 was registered NC65550 and on conversion was sold to the South African Air Force as SAAF 7676. It returned to the US Register in 1997 as N676JD and is shown here in 1996 prior to reregistration.

AT-6D N65555, c/n 88-17181, is still currently registered to a California owner. Here it is seen wearing false Luftwaffe markings in the guise of an Fw 190.
