The Marine Air Terminal at North Beach Airport, La Guardia, New York. One Clipper can be seen moored at the pier, with the circular passenger terminal building to its right, beyond which a covered way leads to a parked DC-3 for convenient transfer. In the foreground a slipway leads to the maintenance hangar for the Clipper fleet, outside of which a large crowd has gathered, no doubt for a special arrival or rollout event. The main North Beach Airport terminal, apron and runways may be seen in the background.
