  • Регистрационный номер: F-AEIZ, F-AEIY

At some time in its career, the fuselage of Breguet-Latecoere 14 F-AEIY was mated with the upper wing of F-AEIZ. The resulting hybrid carries a freshly-painted Z over the Y on the fuselage and a rather more skilfully painted '189' over the c/n 185 on the tailfin. The pilot is revving the engine, perhaps to ensure that everything is held together, although the boarding steps appear to be even more dangerous than the aircraft itself. The last known accident to F-AEIY was in Mauritania on 10.8.25 so this scene must presumably post-date that.

  • Регистрационный номер: F-MAPL

An unusual photograph presumably dating from the 1919 period. The aircraft is a Breguet 14, complete c/n unknown but the first three figures "210 " appear on the white part of the tricolour fin and rudder. It still retains its military camouflage and markings, with the addition of civil registration F-MAPL but with the F on the fin and MAPL on the fuselage. This is clearly associated with the company Cie des Messageries Aeriennes, Paris, whose name appears on the side, and maybe the last two letters stand for 'Paris-Lille' or 'Paris-Londres', two of CMA's early routes? No CofR number is known, if indeed one was allocated.

  • Регистрационный номер: F-AEHH

Among the new registrations listed in September 1922 was Spad 46 F-AEHH c/n 32 for the Compagnie Franco-Roumaine. By the time this photograph was taken it had moved to CIDNA in May 1925 and had been converted to Spad 66 and then later to the only Spad 116 as shown, with a 450 hp Renault 12Ja 12-cyl water-cooled engine.
