Gulfstream G650

GULFSTREAM'S G500 has entered the final stage of its flight test and certification programme, while the larger G600 has completed company field performance testing. These are significant stages towards achieving US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type certification. Including additional testing required for the enhanced performance, the G500's certification is anticipated in early 2018, while the G600 should gain its certification before the end of 2018.
The Gulfstream G500 and its G600, G650 and G650ER are to benefit from an agreement announced at Paris between GE Aviation and AT&T that connects the on-board and off-board portions of the GE Aviation Aircraft Health and Trend Monitoring System on these aircraft.

Left: Flexibility is key to bizjet cabins, especially those of ultra long-range aircraft where passengers are likely to want to work and rest. Gulfstream uses this as an example of a six-place conference setting, but it could just as easily become a casual dining area.
