The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) has taken delivery of two new S-70i Firehawks.

The S-70i can feature an EMS interior from Air Methods (a division of United Rotorcraft) and a 1,000 US gallon (3,785 lit) belly tank that necessitates raised undercarriage, synonymous with the Firehawk design.
