A line up of six Dutch civil-registered F.K. 58s in front of the Koolhoven works at Waalhaven in mid-1939. Civil registration enabled the fighters to be flown across Belgium for delivery to France.

The first prototype F.K.58 undergoes a trial run of its 1,000 h.p. Hispano-Suiza 14AA engine. This aircraft was damaged beyond repair when it crashed in Belgium on January 12, 1939.
