Hurricane XII 5585, one of 72 purchased by Logan after the war. In the Fifties he sold 5585 to local mechanic Morley Young for around $500; he used to run the aircraft up regularly and during one high-speed taxying attempt the wheels sank into mud and the aircraft tipped onto its nose. Logan eventually bought back the Hurricane and scrapped it.
