Hawker Hart Trainer K4911 swung on landing and tipped up on its nose at Abu Sueir on October 24, 1938; here an attempt is made to tip it back. Repaired on site, it was finally struck off charge on February 15, 1942.

Having survived an earlier crash at Abu Sueir on June 17, 1937, Hawker Audax K7538 undershot on approach at night on October 25, 1938, and hit the hut in the background. Both were written off.

Vickers Vincent K4709 spent its life in the Middle East, from delivery to Aboukir in December 1935 to the Heliopolis Communications Flight in 1939. It was struck off charge on April 20, 1940.
