Flogger-E of the Libyan Arab Republic Air Force displaying the Islamic green insignia adopted in 1978 in place of the red-white-black roundels shared with Egypt. The LARAF operates both the Flogger-E and the Flogger-F, which, together with a small number of Flogger-C two-seaters, equip two squadrons. Libya was one of the two first recipients of Flogger (the other being Egypt) in the Middle East.

Flogger-F (MiG-23BM) of the Czechoslovak Air Force of a unit based at Pardubice, some 60 mis (100 km) east of Prague. The two-tone upper surface camouflage scheme with pale blue undersurfaces has now been standardised by most non-Soviet WarPac air forces.

Flogger-G of a V-VS unit from Kubinka, 50 mis (80 km) west of Moscow, which was demonstrated in Finland and France in 1978. Essentially similar to Flogger-B, this version has an enlarged nosewheel housing containing a new nosewheel unit, and revised vertical and horizontal tail.
