Mohawk IV DR764 at Bangalore and poses a problem. The Air Ministry does not acknowledge it but DR761 is reported as possibly a Hawk 75A assembled by Hindustan Aircraft. We have not located DR764 in any ORB. Ideas please.

Port Baby 9800 at Felixstowe with Bristol Scout 3028 perched on the top wing. Separation was successfully achieved over Harwich on 17 May 1916 but the concept of hoisting a Fighter to altitude as an aid to intercepting Zeppelins was abandoned.

A Firefly FR.1 of No.827 Squadron takes the barrier aboard HMS Triumph off Hong Kong. Note the undercarriage legs in the foreground. Serial is not know but a happier picture appears on page 282 of "The Squadrons of the Fleet Air Arm".
