5B-CIH The Helio Stallion floatplane was still to be seen on Limassol seafront in June 1995 inside a small compound. It wore Flying Ventures titles on the fin and was apparently inactive during the week that Sid Nanson was there. However, as Sid was on his honeymoon surely he wasn't watching all the time?

Can anyone confirm the identity of this Bell 47B at Lympne about 1949?
The Bell 47B photo was indeed of G-AKCX of Irvin-Bell Helicopter Sales Co which seems to have first carried the titles in capital letters with the company's official Prestwick address (as shown in AJJ' s British Civil Aircraft), later substituting the operational address of Letchworth as shown in the other photo. The titles in script appear to have been applied later, certainly by 8.48 when recorded by Raymond Punnett. It may have spent some time at Luton as noted by R Palmer but was based at Irvin's house at Deanrow, Letchworth.

Another type which made an invaluable contribution to the establishment of an air bridge between the Allied leaders was the Boeing 314A Clipper, BOAC examples of which carried Churchill to the UK from the crucial Arcadia conference in Washington in January 1942 (G-AGCA Berwick) and back to the USA for the Second Washington Conference that June (G-AGBZ Bristol, as seen here).
