Displayed in the EAA Museum is the 1929 Monocoupe 113 N7808 with the improved 55-65 hp Velie radial which was later developed into the Lambert R-266.

Monocoupe 90A NX19421 flown non-stop across the USA by Clare Bunch in 1939. A long-range fuel tank occupies the right hand seat and on the fuselage side appears the legend 'Monocoupe powered by Lambert'.

A handsome survivor from the Monocoupe era, 90A c/n A782 N19432 was given the previously unused UK registration G-AFEL on 7.6.82 and was photographed at Cranfield the following month. Wing span 32 ft, blistered NACA cowling and divided undercarriage with spats.

The 85-90 hp Lambert R-266 5-cyl radial engine as fitted to the Smokovitz Gere Sport in 1936 was famous as the power unit of the Monocoupe 90 and 90A.

G-AADG seen here dismantled at Gatwick in 1947, was Monocoupe 60 c/n 194, the early model with 30 ft wingspan and straight-axle undercarriage.
