    SABENA Sabca-built Fokker F.VIIb/3m OO-AIL came to grief in a storm on the evening of June 1st 1938 (not the 2nd as is usually reported). Operating a Croydon-Brussels freight service, it crashed into a house at Lympne and was severely damaged although the two crew were not seriously hurt.

    International Air Freight's Curtiss Condor c/n 28 G-AEZE on the tarmac at Croydon. It had been repaired following an undercarriage problem on 19.5.38 but the pilot reported difficulty in trimming the aircraft after departure on 25.5.38. All the four IAF Condors were put into storage shortly afterwards and were not flown again although purchased by the Air Ministry in 10.38.
