Регистрационный номер: TG276 [3] Boulton Paul redesigned and modified the air intakes of D.H. Vampire 1 TG276 to accommodate the Rolls-Royce Nene engine in place of a D.H. Goblin. No Nene-powered Vampires were built in Britain, but 80 were produced in Australia: TG276 passed to Rolls-Royce on January 6, 1950.
Alec Brew has sent in these photographs of Vampire TG276 at Wolverhampton where Boulton Paul designed the intakes for the Nene engine. A new tail was fitted and the engine bay re-plumbed.Самолёты на фотографии: De Havilland Vampire / D.H.100 - Великобритания - 1943

David Vincent has sent us the photograph of a Hurricane with the codes XS-V. It was taken from a twin-engined aircraft and there may be some connection with the Takoradi ferry route. Unfortunately, the original is too blurred to read the serial but 'XS' does not strike a bell.
