The Swedish Air Force Hunter, serial 34085, in J 34B configuration with an afterburner filled to the shortened tailpipe of the Avon 100-series engine. Plt Off Lars Erik Larsson is in the cockpit, preparing for the first take-off. Eventually, this aircraft was converted back to J 34 standard by installing the rear fuselage of a damaged Hunter, number 34034.
