Sopwith Snipe F2483 was photographed after an unfortunate incident near Biggin during 1924. Succeeding the Camel, the Snipe remained in RAF service until 1926.

Vickers Vimy F9183. This 68ft 1in-span heavy bomber was powered by two Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engines; it entered service in numbers early in 1919, and was superseded by the Vickers Virginia in 1924-25.

Armstrong Whitworth Siskin III J7152 first flew on May 28, 1924, and joined 111 Sqn at Duxford the following month. It subsequently served with 41 Sqn, and in June 1926 was converted into a two-seat trainer. Powered by a 325 h.p. Armstrong Siddeley Jaguar III 14-cylinder radial engine, it was armed with twin Vickers machine-guns.

Gloster Grebe II J7287 was one of the first production batch of 12. It went to 25 Sqn, the first unit to be fully equipped with the type, in October 1924 (Grebes were used by just one flight of 111 Sqn at Duxford from October the previous year).
