Junkers Ju 88A-12, coded 1H-FF and with the figure 9 on the rudder, photographed possibly at Celle, Germany in 1945. The German unit was KG26, and FF would indicate that it was Gruppen Stab V (5 th Group-Staff) aircraft. The Ju 88A-12 was a trainer version with no nose cupola - this appears to line up with the staff usage.

The identity of this North American Mustang I RM-R of 26 Squadron is not known, though it could possibly be AP215 or AP227, both these being 26 Squadron aircraft that were extant in 1946-47.

Регистрационный номер: RW388 [2] Spitfire LF.XVIE RW388 of 677 Squadron photographed at High Ercall in 1947. The aircraft is currently displayed at the Stoke-on-Trent City Museum and Art Gallery - this photograph was instrumental in helping out with getting the Spitfire restored to its original markings. Built at Castle Bromwich in 1945, the Spitfire flew with Nos 667, 5 and 612 Sqns before becoming an instructional aircraft (6946M) in 1951. For a while it was exhibited at RAF Colerne.

Регистрационный номер: MN306 Hawker Typhoon IB MN306/SF-F looking the worse for a forced landing - the lorry does not look much better. It belonged to 137 Sqn and was photographed possibly at Celle (Hanover), circa spring 1945. Built by Gloster Aircraft, this Typhoon went to 183 Sqn on March 4, 1944, to 137 Sqn in January 1945, to 174 Sqn (137 renumbered) in August 1945 and was Cat E at 411 RSU on September 20, 1945.
