    Mosquito Mk II DD750 was a standard night-fighter that flew with the author’s squadron (157) on several Instep operations from August 1944. It later passed to 239 Sqn and was damaged beyond repair in June 1944.

    Mosquito Mk II DD609 photographed in March 1942. Shortly afterwards it was delivered to 151 Squadron and, based at RAF Wittering, shot down two Dorniers.

    Mosquito NF.XIX MM652 flew with 157 Sqn before moving to 169 Sqn. No 157 Sqn received its first NF.XIXs in May 1944 and flew them until August 1945. The squadron flew Mk IIs and Mk VIs before receiving Mk XIXs.
