How low can you get? An incredible picture of Ormond Haydon-Baillie at low level in the T-33 over farmland near Duxford in 1974. This remarkable photograph was taken, using a Hasselblad camera, by JOHN RIGBY - who managed not to lose his head in the process. "I told Ormond the crop was six feet high when actually it was only three", Rigby recalls.

Detailing of the flag and crest were carried out to an original RCAF drawing supplied from Canada. Artists Judith Bonser and Louise Denning wielded the brushes.

1. January 29, 2001: CT-133AN Silver Star 21261/G-TBRD is secured in Duxford's paintshop ready for painting to begin.
2. ARC Engineer Billy Kelly has got stuck into G-TBRD's transformation. Billy first worked on this T-33 as a 13-year-old schoolboy with the Haydon-Baillie collection.
3. February 2001, and clues to the new identity are now beginning to show.
4. A little later in February: as the orange goes on, you realise that this paint scheme is really going to stand out.
5. The aircraft is de-masked and ready to come off its jacks. At this point Billy Kelly decides that the T-33 should (temporarily) display his Irish roots!
