This example of a Stearman-Hammond Y was found in poor condition at Hamburg Air Drome, North of Buffalo, NY on 28.8.86. It is unmarked and the only clue as to its identity may be the wind-driven generator on the undercarriage leg fairing above the wing. It does not appear to be one of the known survivors.
