DEADLY CHASE. This colour print from an original painting by prizewinning aviation artist Ronald Wong, G.Av.A, captures the drama of a Spitfire IX of No. 165 Squadron chasing down a V-1 “Doodle-bug” over Southern England in 1944. The technique was often to get alongside the flying bomb and to tip it over and out of control with the Spitfire’s wing. Due to popular demand this print has been re-issued in a limited edition of 750 copies, signed and numbered by the artist.
