De Havilland Sea Hornet NF.21s of 809 Sqn on the flightline at Culdrose in March 1951. The aircraft operated from Coltishall for three months from August 1951, and the squadron operated its Hornets until May 1954.

Pilot Flt Lt J.H. Corre DFM and navigator Flt Lt R. McFarlin about to board a Mosquito night fighter at RAF West Mailing on April 30, 1951, before flying a Met flight sortie.
Mosquitoes were still serving with the RAF in May 1951, when this one above, (probably an NF. Mk 38 (NF. Mk 36 ???)) was photographed at West Mailing. Normal mode of entry was through the belly of the aircraft.

Mosquito NF.36 RL206 of 23 Sqn, based at RAF Coltishall. The squadron retained its Mosquito NF.XXXs and NF.36s until May 1952, by which time they were already being replaced with Vampire NF.10s.
