Long-awaited events of the past year have included roll-out of the prototype Kamov Ka-60 military utility helicopter (1999)

The first commercial EH 101 to enter service, Agusta-built Srs 510 JA01MP (c/n 51002), was delivered on March 25, 1999 to the Air Wing of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police in a hand-over ceremony at Kawasaki’s Gifu factory.
The EH101, fitted with a rear ramp, replaces a KV-107 and will be used to patrol the Tokyo area.
