Photographs International took this photograph during a simulated air-sea rescue exercise from RAF Valley in November 1981. The Wessex HC.2 is seen in temporary camouflage paint scheme but has since reverted to the traditional all yellow scheme.

HAROLD MARTIN'S photograph taken in 1953 shows the Grumman SA-16 Albatross 48-588 in triphibian configuration. By fitting sprung skis under the bull and on the wingtip floats, the Albatross could operate from land, water, snow or ice.
