Two views of the luckless Air Union Farman F.63bis F-FHMY Picardie after a forced landing at Penshurst. On February 10, 1930 the same aircraft made another crash landing at Marden Park, Kent. The Farman caught fire
and two passengers perished on an inbound flight from Paris to Croydon.
Fokker H-NABK, seen at Penshurst, was a KLM aircraft. In April 1926 it was sold to Balair and became CH-154.
Avro 504K G-EALD, ex H1925, seen at Penshurst in 1921.
The Stallard Airways Avro 504K after crashing at Hildenborough, Kent in November 1921. G-EAFQ, ex E4180, was originally registered in August 1919.
Members of the Air Transport Auxiliary Association, celebrated the 45th anniversary year of the formation of ATA with a visit to RAF Lyneham on March 30, 1984. They were able to inspect two BAe 146 C.1s under valuation as well as the TriStar C.1s, VC 10 C.1s and Hercules transports.

The Air League's official test pilot, Flt Lt Ambrose Cowell, lost his life when he was air testing Flea G-AEEW at Penshurst on May 4, 1936. The aircraft had been built by R. G. Doig of Aircraft Constructions Ltd and crashed on landing after a short flight.
