Autocrat G-AGVJ “Veejay” shows its classic Auster profile early in its life. Registered in January 1946, it was later converted to J/1N standard before being withdrawn from use in August 1964.

Before the Slingsby T.21 was available, the Surrey club borrowed a two-seat German Kranich to explore dual training. This Kranich (Schleicher K 7 ???) was photographed at Cologne-Butzweilerhof in 1958.
