Harold Wagner’s first attempt to create a cheap twin was the Twin Super Cub, a PA-18 Super Cub with a second 125 h.p. Lycoming above its cabin. The upper engine of the Twin Super Cub was given 5° of upthrust; Wagner encountered some flutter problems in the tail surfaces.
