Регистрационный номер: PA474, PS915 This fine portrait of the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s Spitfire PR.XIX PS915 and Lancaster PA474 was taken en route from Clacton Air Show in Essex to the unit’s Coningsby base in Lincolnshire on August 27, 1999. Coningsby station CO Gp Capt Peter Ruddock was flying the Spitfire, while Sqn Ldr Dave Thomas piloted the Lane; the camera aircraft was flown by Dale Featherby. A change of markings for the Lane is expected over the coming winter: watch out for details and a feature on the Flight soon.
