It was common practice to point the aircraft into wind with chocks behind the wheels to stop it rolling backwards.

Регистрационный номер: G-AAXX Eustace Watkins and A F Kemp with their Puss Moth c/n 2028 G-AAXX. Mr Watkins said he had not used a train for business journeys for over 6 months. He estimated his speed at 110 to 115 mph but did not say if this was airspeed or groundspeed, in either case a high average!

Регистрационный номер: VH-ABU, VH-UPA C/n 2022 VH-ABU formerly VH-UPA, has a non-standard strut added between the front undercarriage leg attachment and the wing on both sides, fitted by C D Pratt in Australia. It has the early model fin and rudder with concave curved fin reaching less than halfway up the rudder. A similar strut was also fitted to VH-UQB c/n 2051 ex G-ABDW but this was later removed.

Регистрационный номер: G-ABBS G-ABBS c/n 2020, painted in red and blue Guards colours with polished metal cowlings, was the first of several owned by the Prince of Wales: others being G-ABFV c/n 2122, G-ABNN c/n 2190 and G-ABRR c/n 2209. Although the Prince had RAF Wapiti J9095 for his personal use and his own pilot, the Puss Moth was the opportunity to travel in cabin comfort without flying suit, helmet and goggles and he took immediate advantage of it. G-ABBS had low pressure tyres, an exhaust muff for cabin heating and Handley Page automatic slots on the outer wing leading edges.

Регистрационный номер: SU-ABE [2] SU-ABE in Misr Airwork's hangar at Cairo. It has additional struts fitted between the front underwing strut and rear wingroot spar attachment point, added after accidents associated with flutter. Wing strengthening modifications later solved the problem.
