Регистрационный номер: F-AOCQ, G-AAZO [2], OO-GUI, AX870 [2] This view of the giant airship hangar at Frankfurt in July 1937 when it was host not only to the Graf Zeppelin LZ127 but also to an International meeting of light aircraft. In the foreground, the Cinque Ports Flying Club's Puss Moth G-AAZO c/n 2045 shows the type's long ailerons and upwards-folding portion inboard to allow the wings to be folded. Behind the Puss Moth is F-AOCQ. an early Farman 403. Left of centre is the second of two St Michel SG-2s to be registered OO-GUI with the Club des Aviateurs de Bruxelles.

Регистрационный номер: G-AAYE Puss Moth c/n 2037 G-AAYE "Peridot IV" of Morris Jackaman seen in a fast and low fly-by. The large diameter wheels with high pressure tyres were intended by DH for replacement when low-pressure tyres still under development became available as the latter gave a softer ride.

Регистрационный номер: G-AAXL, G-AAXO [2] Neck and Neck: Mrs. Butler and Capt. de Havilland getting away in their "Puss Moths."
Taking off in the 1930 King's Cup 5.7.30 are No.79 G-AAXO c/n 2041 flown by Geoffrey de Havilland, who retired, and No.77 G-AAXL c/n 2010 flown by Mrs A S Butler who came fourth.
Puss Moth G-AAXO c/n 2041 is seen taking off in the 1930 King's Cup, flown by Geoffrey de Havilland with racing no.79. At Croydon on 19.5.38 pilot Mayo in this aircraft disgraced himself by turning right after landing. As following aircraft landed to the right, the standard rule was to turn left after landing, and this is still the case on grass airfields unless radio control instructs otherwise.Самолёты на фотографии: De Havilland Puss Moth / D.H.80 - Великобритания - 1929

Регистрационный номер: G-AAZO [2], AX870 [2] Another view of G-AAZO, showing it to be fitted with low-pressure tyres and a tail skid, ideal for use on grass airfields. It had an active pre-war career and was impressed as AX870 but survived for less than a year until it hit an obstruction when landing at Swindon and swerved into a stationary tarsprayer.

Регистрационный номер: G-AAZP [2], HL537 [2], SU-AAC [2] G-AAZP c/n 2047 received its first CofA just two weeks before the 1930 King's Cup event, thus enabling new owner Diana Guest to take part along with seven other Puss Moths. We suspect that this is a pre-war shot although G-AAZP wore a similar colour scheme (but for the fin and rudder) in blue and yellow when used by the DH Chester Club in the sixties.

Регистрационный номер: G-AAFA, SE-AFH G-AAFA c/n 2038 taking part in an air race as No.20. When in Sweden as SE-AFH the high-pressure tyres seen here had been replaced with low-pressure tyres which became standard on production.

Регистрационный номер: K1824 K1824 c/n 2044 was purchased for the RAF as it was recognised that the type was a big advance in the field of communications aircraft. After evaluation at Martlesham it was conveniently available for static testing as a part of the investigation which followed the accidents due to flutter.

Регистрационный номер: VH-UQB VH-UQB c/n 2051 shows clearly the additional strut from undercarriage to wing strut fitting installed by C D Pratt in Australia. It would have to be removed before the wings could be folded. A Gipsy Major engine has been installed with its usual short exhaust.
